Construction Requires Overnight Lane Closures on Interstate 49 in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY (7-9) – Pavement work on Interstate 49 in Lowell and Rogers requires
lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the inside lane of northbound Interstate 49 will be closed for shoulder
work between State Highway 264 (Exit 78) and New Hope Road (Exit 83). The overnight lane
closure will occur Wednesday, July 11 through Wednesday, July 18, from 9:00 p.m. to
6:00 a.m.


Traffic will be controlled using barrels and construction signage. The public is advised to be
cautious if traveling in this work zone and are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid
the interstate closure.
