CRAIGHEAD COUNTY (8-15) – Construction work to improve East Nettleton Avenue in
Jonesboro will require lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will perform asphalt work that requires lane closures on East
Nettleton Avenue between Watt Street and Ingels Road beginning Friday, August 17. Lane
closures will occur daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. until the project is complete, which is
estimated to be three weeks.

Traffic will be controlled with signage, flaggers, and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise
caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
