GRANT COUNTY (11-8) – Improvements for the intersection of U.S. Highway 270 and
U.S. Highway 167B in Sheridan require a temporary lane closure, according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will begin work on Monday, November 19 at 8:00 a.m. and
will last until approximately 5:30 p.m. and will put the following restrictions into place:
- The eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 270 from S. Main Street to U.S. Highway 167
will be closed. - All through traffic, and right turning traffic, onto U.S. Highway 167B will need to
turn on south Main, then turn left on Pine Street to get back on the highway. This
detour will be clearly marked by signs to show drives the way.
Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
