SALINE COUNTY (11-21) – Construction on State Highway 229 requires a temporary
closure near the city of Traskwood, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close State Highway 229 to all through traffic at the
Traskwood City Limits from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 and possibly
Wednesday, November 28. This closure will allow crews to replace a culvert at that
location.

Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
