Construction Requires Daily Ramp Closure On Interstate 40 in West Memphis

CRITTENDEN COUNTY (11-21) – Slope repair operations requires a daily ramp closure in
West Memphis, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the Interstate 40 on-ramp from Mound City Road
(Exit 281) from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily beginning Tuesday, November 27 through
Thursday, November 29. Traffic will follow signs for the detour provided. The closure will
allow crews to remove material that was a result from a previous incident.

Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
