PULASKI COUNTY (1-10) – Construction of the new Maumelle interchange requires
temporary lane closures on Interstate 40, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, Sunday, January 13, crews will close eastbound and westbound
inside lanes between the Interstate 430 interchange (Mile Marker 147) and Mile Marker
145 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Weather permitting, crews will perform nightly closures of eastbound and westbound
outside lanes between the Interstate 430 interchange (Mile Marker 147) and Mile Marker
145 from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. from Monday, January 14 through Friday, January 18.
The closures will allow crews to install concrete barrier walls along the shoulders.
Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
