CRAIGHEAD COUNTY (3-29) – Repairs to a bridge on State Highway 230 require highway
closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will close the bridge on State Highway 230 approximately ¾
miles west of Dixie beginning Monday, April 1. No traffic will be allowed access while the
repairs take place. Expected completion of the repairs is Friday, April 5. Please use alternate
routes. No detours are available.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards and traffic drums. Drivers should exercise
caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
