PULASKI COUNTY (5-3) – Resurfacing U.S. Highway 165 (England Rd./Baucum Pike)
between State Highway 391 and U.S. Highway 70 (E. Broadway St.) in North Little Rock will
require temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, beginning Monday, May 6, crews will close a single lane at a time,
alternating eastbound and westbound, along U.S. Highway 165 between 7:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. daily. These closures will allow crews to remove and replace asphalt along the
5.2 mile section of highway. Work is expected to be complete in mid-2019.
Drivers should expect delays and plan for longer travel times if traveling through this work
zone. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers, signage and traffic cones.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work
zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You
