GARLAND COUNTY (7-29) – A routine bridge inspection on U.S. Highway 70 (Airport Road)
over Lake Hamilton requires an alternating lane closure, according to Arkansas Department
of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will alternate eastbound and westbound lane closures on Airport
Road over Lake Hamilton on Wednesday, July 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
