CRAIGHEAD COUNTY (7-29) – Improvements require temporary ramp closure on
southbound Interstate 555 in Jonesboro, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the I-555 southbound exit ramp to Red Wolf/Stadium Boulevard will
be closed Tuesday, July 30 at 8:30 a.m. to allow crews to place a High Friction Surface
Treatment to the ramp. This closure will remain in place until work is completed, which is
estimated to be Tuesday afternoon. Motorists are encouraged to use Caraway Road Exit for
Red Wolf/Stadium Boulevard access.

Traffic will be controlled with signage, message boards, and traffic barrels. Drivers should
exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
