Construction Work Requires Alternating Lane Closures on Interstate 49 in Rogers

BENTON COUNTY (8-9) – Construction Work requires alternating lane closures on
Interstate 49 in the city of Rogers, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will alternatingly close both northbound and southbound lanes
on I-49 between New Hope Road (Exit 83) and Walton Boulevard/Walnut Street (Exit 85)
nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. These closures will begin Monday night, August 12 and
continue through Saturday morning, August 17.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
