PULASKI COUNTY (8-12) – Construction of the new Interstate 40 interchange to Maumelle
will require temporary, overnight lane closures just west of North Little Rock, according to
Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the outside eastbound lane from 8:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 13 until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14. This will allow crews to
remove the concrete barrier walls and place construction pavement markings.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
