CARROL COUNTY (8-16) – Improvements require temporary lane closures on U.S. Highway
62 in Green Forest, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the eastbound and westbound outside lanes beginning
6:00 p.m. Monday, August 19 for asphalt operations. The closures will remain in place until
the work is completed, which is estimated to be mid-September.

Traffic will be controlled by signage, flaggers, and barrels. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
