GARLAND COUNTY (8-23) – Improvements on U.S. Highway 270 require a temporary ramp
closure in Hot Springs, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the ramp from U.S. Highway 270 to McLeod St. (Exit 3)
on Monday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to allow crews to refresh the ‘Wrong
Way’ markings on the ramp.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
