PULASKI COUNTY (8-30) – Construction of the Maumelle Interchange on Interstate 40
requires temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, Wednesday, September 4, the contractor will close the westbound
outside and middle lanes of Interstate 40 to move barrier wall and place construction
pavement markings from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Weather permitting, Thursday, September 5, the contractor will close the westbound
outside lane of Interstate 40 to move the barrier wall and place construction pavement
markings from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels, signage, and message boards. Drivers should
exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
