BENTON COUNTY (10-4) – The Corps of Engineers will temporarily close State Highway
187 to perform work on Beaver Dam’s intake gate rehab project, according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the Corps of Engineers will close State Highway 187 from 8:00 a.m.
Tuesday, October 8 through 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10.

The closure is being coordinated with emergency services, law enforcement agencies, and
local authorities. Officials from the Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake Project Office
regret any inconvenience this may cause.
