PULASKI COUNTY (10-1) – Maintenance work on State Highway 161 (S. First St.) requires
a temporary road closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close S. First St. between Shamrock Ct. and Sandalwood Dr.
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Wednesday, October 2 and Thursday, October 3 to
perform maintenance work on drainage systems in the area. The City of Jacksonville will also
be performing some drainage work in the area at the same time.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
