CLEVELAND COUNTY (10-18) – Crews repairing a bridge deck on State Highway 114 in
Cleveland County will require a road closure next week, according to Arkansas Department
of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Crews will be repairing a bridge deck over Kessee Creek that will require closure of the
highway between U.S. Highway 63 and State Highway 35 beginning Tuesday, October 22 at
8:30 a.m. and continuing through Wednesday, October 23 until 5:00 p.m., weather
permitting.
Local traffic will be allowed, however, through traffic will be routed through a detour.
Eastbound traffic will continue on Highway 35 to Highway 63. Traffic will then travel north
on Highway 63 to return to Highway 114. Westbound traffic will travel south on Highway
63 and then turn west on Highway 35.
Signage will direct traffic through the detour area. The public is advised to be cautious when
traveling in work zones. Drivers may consider finding alternate routes as delays may occur.
