Maintenance Requires Temporary Lane Closure on U.S. Hwy 270 east of Hot Springs

GARLAND COUNTY (11-4) – Maintenance of a rail road crossing on U.S. Highway 270 just
east of Hot Springs will require a temporary lane closure, according to Arkansas Department
of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close both westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 270 between
Parkshores Road and Industrial Park Road from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
November 6.
Westbound traffic will be routed through the center turn lane to travel through
the work zone.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
