BENTON COUNTY (12-6) – Drainage improvements to State Highway 16 require a
temporary closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close State Highway 16 at the intersection of U.S. Highway
412 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily from Monday, December 9 through Thursday,
December 12. The U.S. Highway 412 southbound left and right turn lanes will also be closed
at this location.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
