MISSISSIPPI COUNTY (12-6) – Maintenance on State Highway 297 requires temporary
closure to replace a culvert, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close Highway 297 one half mile north of Dyess Tuesday,
December 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be no through traffic during the
closure; motorists must use county roads to enter or leave Dyess.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
