MISSISSIPPI COUNTY (2-7) – Improvements to State Highway 14 require temporary
overnight lane closures just west of the town of Marie, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will alternately close all lanes two miles north and two miles
south of the Interstate 55 interchange (I-55 Exit 41) for 15 minute increments between
11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. These lane closures will occur as follows and allow crews to hang
structural steel:

• Southbound lanes will close on Monday, February 10 – Friday, February 14
• Northbound lanes will close on Wednesday, February 12 – Wednesday, February 19

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
