PULASKI COUNTY (03-13) – Crews performing geotechnical sampling and drainage
inspection along the Interstate 30 corridor in Little Rock and North Little Rock will require
lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Geotechnical boring and drainage inspection for design work on the 30 Crossing project will
require eastbound and westbound lane closures in select areas on I-30 and adjacent ramps
and local streets. Weather permitting, this work will occur Monday, March 16 through
Friday, March 20. Crews will close interstate lanes overnight between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00
a.m. and use daytime closures on ramps and city streets between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- At the north terminal in North Little Rock, inside or outside lanes will be closed on
Eastbound I-40 through the interchange and on the Westbound I-40 to Westbound
I-30 ramp. - On the frontage road and adjacent streets, various lanes and shoulders will be
closed. Locations in Little Rock include the Eastbound I-30 frontage road at the 9th
Street bridge. Locations in North Little Rock include Rector Street at 3rd and 4th
streets.
Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. Non-interstate traffic will
also include flaggers. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone.
