LITTLE ROCK (3-23) – As recommended by health officials, the Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) is engaging in social distancing mitigation measures to help combat
the spread of COVID-19 in Arkansas communities by rescheduling or cancelling certain
events.

For this reason, ARDOT has postponed the April 7, 2020, Transportation Alternatives
Program and Recreational Trails Program Application Seminar in Springdale,
Arkansas. ARDOT’s priority is the safety of its employees and the traveling public. This
meeting will be rescheduled at a later date, still to be determined.

Department staff will discuss the current application deadline of May 1, 2020 during the
coming weeks to determine how to proceed. Once a final determination is made, additional
information will be released.
