PRAIRIE COUNTY (5-8) – A routine bridge inspection of the Interstate 40 Bridge over the
Cache River requires temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will conduct the following lane closures:

• Westbound outside lane of the Cache River Bridge Tuesday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m.
  through 3:00 p.m.
• Eastbound outside lane of the Cache River Bridge Wednesday, May 13 from 9:00 a.m.
  through 3:00 p.m.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
