Maintenance Work Requires Overnight Lane Closures on Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock

PULASKI COUNTY (7-14) – Maintenance work on Colonel Glenn Road (Highway 5) will
require overnight lane closures in Little Rock, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will put an alternating lane closure in place on Colonel Glenn
Road between Oak Park Drive and W. 36th Street as follows:

  • Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17 nights from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the
    following morning
  • Sunday, July 19 and Monday, July 20 nights from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the
    following morning


This closure will allow crews to patch and prepare the bridge deck over Fourche Creek for a
polymer overlay.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
