GARLAND COUNTY (8-14) – A routine bridge inspection requires temporary lane closures
on Grand Avenue (Highway 70B) in Hot Springs, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, maintenance crews will conduct the following closures on E. Grand
Avenue over Gulpha Creek on Tuesday, August 18:

• westbound outside lane | 9:00 a.m. to Noon
• eastbound outside lane | Noon to 3:00 p.m.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
