HOT SPRING COUNTY (8-21) – Maintenance on U.S. Highway 270 requires a lane closure
on Interstate 30 near Malvern, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the westbound inside lane of I-30 between Exits 96 and
98 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24. This closure will allow crews to
replace concrete on the U.S. Highway 270 bridge that crosses over I-30.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
