Design Work on Interstate 30 Requires Lane Closures in Little Rock

PULASKI COUNTY (8-28) – Crews performing design work along the Interstate 30 corridor
in Little Rock will require eastbound shoulder and frontage road lane closures along the
Interstate, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, this work will occur between Tuesday, September 1 and Thursday,
September 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Crews will close the eastbound I-30 outside
shoulder between 9th and 6th streets for bridge abutment sampling, and the eastbound
frontage road right lane between 9th and 6th streets for surveying.

Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. The public is advised to be
cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
