CRITTENDEN COUNTY (8-31) – A routine bridge inspection of the Interstate 40 Mississippi
River Bridge between West Memphis and Memphis will require temporary lane closures,
according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close lanes on the Mississippi River bridge as follows:

• Tuesday (9/1) – Thursday (9/3) | 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. | outside westbound lane
• Tuesday (9/8) – Thursday (9/10) | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | outside eastbound lane

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
