Maintenance on Interstate 40 Requires Rolling Lane Closures

PULASKI & LONOKE COUNTIES (9-8) – Maintenance on Interstate 40 requires rolling lane
closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will conduct a rolling lane closure of the I-40 eastbound outside
lane on Thursday, September 10 at the following locations:

  • Pulaski County | 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. | from Exit 154 (N. Hills Blvd.) to the I-440 overpass in North Little Rock
  • Lonoke County | 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | east of Exit 165 (Kerr Road)

These rolling lane closures will allow crews to collect concrete core samples from the
roadway.

Traffic will be controlled by mobile message boards pulled by truck and signage . Drivers
should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
