Department Seeking Public Input through WebEx “Live” Virtual Public Involvement Meeting about Improvements for Highway 71B (Towson Ave.) between Highways 271 and 64 in Fort Smith

SEBASTIAN COUNTY (9-21) – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will hold a
“live” virtual public involvement meeting via WebEx to review the proposed plans to improve
Highway 71B between Highway 271 and Highway 64 in Fort Smith.

ARDOT will conduct a live WebEx virtual public involvement meeting to discuss the proposed plans
to mill & inlay along with drainage and sidewalks improvements on Tuesday, September 29 from
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The public is invited to listen, view meeting materials, and participate by
asking questions and making comments with the appropriate ARDOT staff. The website will be
available for comments until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13.

meeting website. This website will provide project materials and handouts that would have been
shown at the in-person meetings. A separate link (on that page) will provide a Spanish version of the
presentation. There will also be an option to send online comment forms to ARDOT staff, or you can
