PULASKI COUNTY (9-30) – Resurfacing work requires lane closures on Cantrell Road
(Highway 10) between Reservoir Road and Mississippi Avenue, according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, the contractor will close one eastbound lane and one westbound lane
beginning Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m. One lane in each direction will be closed from
8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each day, Sunday through Friday, for two weeks. Lanes will not be
closed during the daytime hours, nor on Saturday nights. These closures will allow the
contractor to mill and repave the roadway.
This 1.2 mile project was awarded earlier this year to Redstone Construction Group of Little
Rock for $521,261.52.
The lanes closed will vary as the work progresses. Residents of this area may experience
noise impacts throughout the duration of this work.
Traffic will be controlled by advanced warning signs and traffic cones. Drivers should
exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
