Improvements to Interstate 430 Arkansas River Bridge Need Overnight Lane Closures

PULASKI COUNTY (11-30) – Improvements to the Interstate 430 Arkansas River Bridge
and surrounding highway need overnight lane closures, according to Arkansas Department
of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close a single outside lane of northbound I-430 from Rodney
Parham Road to the Maumelle Interchange on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday,
December 3 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning.

The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the existing shoulders, construct bridge
modifications and install intelligent transportation system equipment on I-430 between
Highways 10 and 100. The contract was awarded to Concrete Strategies LLC on June 24,
2020, for $31,722,871.06 and is estimated to be completed in late 2022.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
