Department Seeking Public Input about Proposed Access to Northwest Arkansas National Airport in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY (2-16) – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will conduct a public involvement meeting about an improved connection between the Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) and Springdale Northern Bypass (Hwy. 612) in Benton County.

The public is invited to listen, view meeting materials, and provide written comments. The website will be available for comments until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17. Citizens will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comment during a “live” virtual presentation from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2. Garver, in coordination with ARDOT, will conduct the live Microsoft Teams virtual location public hearing.

To access the online public meeting, click on the link above.  It will take you to the online location public hearing website. This website will provide project materials and handouts that would have been shown at an in-person meeting. A separate link (on that page) will provide a Spanish version of the presentation. There will also be an option to send online comment forms to project staff, or you can print the form and mail it to Garver, Attn: Lindi Miller, 4701 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
