PULASKI COUNTY (3-5) – Construction on Interstate 30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock will require lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, the following travel impacts will occur the week of March 8:
- Mon., March 8 – Thurs., March 11 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-40 eastbound in North Little Rock | Overnight lane closure between the I-40/I-30 split and the I-30 eastbound merge ramp.
- Mon., March 8 – Thurs., March 11 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-40 westbound in North Little Rock | Overnight lane closure from the on-ramp at North Hills Blvd. onto the I-30 flyover ramp over I-40.
- Mon., March 8 – Thurs., March 11 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 | Alternating eastbound and westbound overnight lane closure between 2nd and 9th Sts. Multiple-lane closures will be limited to 11 p.m. – 4 a.m.
- Mon., March 8 | 8 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. | I-30 westbound on-ramp at Cumberland St. | Full ramp closure during overnight hours. Traffic will detour to I-30 eastbound, take the Broadway St. off-ramp (Exit 141B), and return to I-30 westbound. See attached map NR 21-064-A for detour route.
- Tues., March 9 – Thurs., March 11 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound off-ramp to 6th St. | Full ramp closure during overnight hours at Exit 140B. Traffic will detour to the Main St. exit on I-630 to access downtown (Exit 1A). See attached map NR 21-064-B for detour route.
- Wed., March 10 – Thurs., March 11 | 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. | 3rd St. westbound in Little Rock | Daytime lane closure between Ferry and Sherman Sts.
- Fri., March 12 at 9 p.m. – Sun., March 14 at 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound and ramp to I-630 | Double-lane closures between 6th St. and I-630. Full ramp closure to I-630 westbound. Traffic will detour south to Roosevelt Rd. (Exit 139A), return to I-30 eastbound, and take the flyover ramp to I-630 westbound (Exit 139B). See attached map NR 21-064-C for detour route.
- Sat., March 13 – Sun., March 14 | 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound | Overnight traffic shift. Traffic will shift from using the left lane to using the right lane at the I-630 interchange.
- Sun., March 14 | 8 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. | I-30 westbound on-ramp at Cumberland St. | Full ramp closure during overnight hours. Traffic will detour to I-30 eastbound, take the Broadway St. off-ramp (Exit 141B), and return to I-30 westbound. See attached map NR 21-064-A for detour route.
- Sun., March 14 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound off-ramp to 6th St. | Full ramp closure during overnight hours at Exit 140B. Traffic will detour to the Main St. exit on I-630 to access downtown (Exit 1A). See attached map NR 21-064-B for detour route.
Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
