Utility Work Requires Lane Closures on Interstate 30

CLARK COUNTY (5-7) –Utility work on Interstate 30 needs lane closures near Gurdon, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, a utility contractor working for AT&T will close the inside lane of I-30 near Gurdon at Mile Marker 60 Monday morning, May 10, from 6:30 a.m. until noon. Once work is complete on the inside lane, work and the closure will move to the outside lane. This closure will allow the contractor to repair conduit attached to the overpass that was previously damaged in an accident.

Signage and traffic barrels will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
