PULASKI COUNTY (5-17) – Improvements to Cantrell Road need alternating lane closures on Interstate 430, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, the contractor will reduce traffic to a single lane on both northbound and southbound I-430 beginning Monday night, May 24 at 8:00 p.m. The nightly closures will occur each night, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next morning.
The exact lanes closed will change as the work progresses and only one direction (either northbound or southbound) will be affected at a time. These closures will allow the contractor to remove safety platforms and overhangs from the newly constructed Cantrell Road (Highway 10) overpass.
Signage, traffic barrels and concrete barriers will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
