CRAIGHEAD COUNTY (6-18) – Construction work to improve Highway 18 from Jonesboro to Lake City means there will be temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting; crews will alternatingly close a single lane of traffic on Highway 18 between Nestle Rd. (County Road 47) and Lake City starting on Monday, June 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. These closures will occur weekdays and Saturdays for approximately three weeks.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
