PULASKI COUNTY (7-2) – Continued work on Interstate 30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock means there will be lane closures next week, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the following travel impacts and traffic pattern changes will occur during the week of July 5, including detour routes. No closures are scheduled July 2 – July 5 due to Independence Day.

North Little Rock

• Tues., July 6 | Long-term single-lane closures | Riverfront Dr. | Long-term eastbound and westbound right-lane closures between Washington Ave. and Olive St.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. | I-30 Frontage Road northbound | Daytime single-lane closure and traffic shift between Broadway St. and Bishop Lindsey Ave.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Broadway St. | Daytime single-lane closures between the I-30 frontage roads.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-40 eastbound | Overnight single-lane closures from the I-40/I-30 split to the merge from I-30 eastbound, and from the
  I-40/I-30 split to the merge with I-30 westbound.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 11 p.m. – 4 a.m. | I-30 eastbound | Overnight double-lane closures between 9th St. and the North Terminal.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m.  | Broadway St. | Overnight alternating eastbound and westbound street closures between the I-30 frontage roads. Little Rock

• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 eastbound | Overnight single and double- lane closures between I-630 and 6th St. Double lane-closures will be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound | Overnight single and double-lane closures between 4th St. and I-630. Double-lane closures will be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Tues., July 6 – Fri., July 9 | 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 eastbound and westbound | Overnight single and double-lane closures between I-630 and Roosevelt Rd. Double-lane closures will be limited to 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Tues., July 6 – Wed., July 7 | 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-630 eastbound ramp to I-30 eastbound (Exit 139 A) | Full ramp closure during overnight hours. Detour will be signed to use Exit 139B to Roosevelt Rd. See detour map NR 21-209-B for details.
• Wed., July 7 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 eastbound | Overnight single and double-lane closures between I-630 and the Cantrell Interchange. Double-lane closures will be limited to
  10 p.m. to 5 a.m. These closures are part of the new traffic pattern to open the downtown off-ramp (Exit 140) to 6th and 9th Streets and the city’s downtown street grid.
• Thurs., July 8 | Long-term closure | 9th St. bridge | Long-term bridge closure between the I-30 frontage roads until early 2022. Detours will be signed to use 6th St. See detour map NR 21-209-C for details.

Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
