RANDOLPH COUNTY (8-13)– Improvements to Highway 90 northwest of Pocahontas mean a temporary highway closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting; crews will close Highway 90 immediately east of the Highway 93 intersection starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18 and the closure will remain until work is completed. This closure will allow crews to remove and replace a deteriorating corrugated metal pipe at this location and the work is expected to take only a day.
Orange barrels, message boards, and signage will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
