PULASKI COUNTY (8-13) – Safety improvements to the driving surface mean lane closures on various highways in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting; the following overnight lane closures will occur from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next morning to place a surface treatment on the pavement:
- Interstate 30:
- Aug. 16-19 | All Southbound | Between N. Alexander Rd. (Exit 126) & Northern Interchange (Exit 143)
- Aug. 18-20 | Alternating Southbound | Between Curtis Sykes Dr. (Exit 142) & Northern Interchange (Exit 143)
- Highway 67:
- Aug. 16-19 | Alternating Southbound | Starting at Cabot/Highway 5 (Exit 16) and south for 1 mile
- Aug. 16-19 | Alternating Northbound | I-40 Interchange
- Interstate 630:
- Aug. 18-20 | Alternating Eastbound & Westbound | Between Main St. (Exit 1) and Dr. MLK Jr. Dr. (Exit 2)
- Aug. 19-21 | Alternating Westbound | Between Main St. (Exit 1) and Dr. MLK Jr. Dr. (Exit 2)
- Aug. 19-21 | Alternating Eastbound | Between John Barrow Rd. (Exit 7) and
S. Shackleford Rd. (Exit 8) - Aug. 20-24 | Alternating Eastbound | Between Main St. (Exit 1) and Dr. MLK Jr. Dr. (Exit 2)
This work is part of Job 012361, a statewide safety project to place ultrathin bond wearing course designed for use as a high performance surface treatment to correct distresses and restore a smooth surface.
