GARLAND COUNTY (11-19) – Construction to widen Highway 270 to five lanes in Garland County requires lane closures on the highway.
Weather permitting, crews will be working at the Highway 227 and Highway 270 intersection to install drainage pipes within the intersection. Lane closures will be periodically utilized from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Friday, Nov. 19 to Wednesday, Nov. 24.
Traffic will be controlled with flaggers, barrels, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
This project (Job CA0607) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 1.5 miles of Highway 270 to five lanes and bike lanes, extending generally from Fleetwood Drive to Highway 227 in Garland County.
