In-person Public Involvement Meeting March 10: Discussion of Highway 64 Study

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will conduct an in-person public involvement meeting Thursday, March 10, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Harry E. Kelley Park, River Park Events, Building East, 121 Riverfront Drive, Fort Smith, AR 72901 to discuss a planning study to determine the need and feasibility for connectivity improvements to Highway 64 in Fort Smith.

This will be an open forum, in-person meeting with no formal presentations. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments. This study will explore improvements to the State Highway System in and surrounding downtown Fort Smith, including the feasibility of constructing a new river crossing north or south of the existing Highway 64 river bridge crossing.  Additional information about the study can be found at www.hwy64studyfortsmith.com
