On Monday, May 9, there will be a temporary road closure on Highway 11 near Higginson to replace a pipe.

Weather permitting; crews will close Highway 11 near its intersection with Highway 367 Monday, May 9 at 8 a.m.  Due to the installation depth of the pipe, traffic cannot remain on the roadway. The road is expected to reopen later that evening.

The non-weight-restricted detour is as follows. Drivers can exit Highway 11 at the junction of Highways 11 and 38 in Des Arc. Take Highway 38 west for about 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 38 and Highway 31 between Butlerville and Sylvania. Take Highway 31 north toward Beebe to the intersection of Highways 31 and 367 in Higginson. Take Hwy 367 north to the intersection of Highways 367 and 11.
