Routine maintenance on a bridge approach on Interstate 540 requires a temporary lane closure next week in Fort Smith.

Weather permitting, crews will close the southbound inside lane of the I-540 overpass crossing Rogers Avenue (Highway 22) at 8:30 a.m. Monday, September 19. The closure will be continuous until the work is completed. The estimated completion date is Friday, September 23.
