Overnight lane closures are scheduled along Interstate 49 in Springdale from Thursday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 4. The lane closures will be in place to conduct soil borings, a process in which crews drill holes to collect soil and bedrock samples.
Weather permitting, crews with Geotechnology, LLC. and Time Striping, Inc. will close the inside shoulder and lane of north and southbound I-49 between northbound Exit 77 for Hwy 612 and southbound exit 77 for Hwy 612 (mile markers 76-77) as follows:
- Thursday, March 30 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Friday, March 31 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Saturday, April 1 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Sunday, April 2 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Monday, April 3 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 4 | 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
