Upcoming Traffic Pattern Changes on Highway 67/167 in Jacksonville Northbound Exit 10A Closed May 1

PULASKI COUNTY | May 9, 2023

Construction to widen Highway 67 to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires closing exit ramp 10A on northbound Highway 67/167.

Weather permitting, crews will close northbound exit ramp 10A (North James Street) to place a barrier wall between Main Street and North James Street on Highway 67/167. The barrier wall placement and ramp closure will occur Thursday, May 11 through Saturday, May 13. This will be a permanent ramp closure with a new ramp being constructed later in the project and in a different location. Traffic will be directed to use Exit 9 (Main Street) to access T.P. White Drive and North James Street. See attached map 23-141-A for details.

Traffic will be controlled with message boards and the newly installed barrier wall. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.

Later this month, additional traffic pattern changes will be in place. Information will be provided in future news releases.

  • John Harden Drive will be temporarily closed in mid-May between Gregory Street and North James Street with a signed detour.
  • Hill Street connection to John Harden Drive will be permanently closed in late-May.
