Join ARDOT leadership and local dignitaries in Mayflower at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26 to cut a ribbon on the newly completed Mayflower Bypass.

The project is the result of a successful partnership between the City of Mayflower, Faulkner County, Metroplan, Union Pacific, and ARDOT.

The $27 million project by Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. involved the construction of a railroad overpass and the replacement of a bridge structure with a reinforced concrete box culvert.

The new bypass will help ease traffic flow and increase safety for those traveling in Mayflower.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at Northside Apostolic Church, 132 AR-89, Mayflower, Arkansas.
