POINSETT COUNTY | August 31, 2023

The northbound lane of the Highway 140 bridge, which crosses the Little River and is located two miles north of Marked Tree, has been closed following a routine inspection. The southbound lane will remain open.

Temporary traffic signals have been set up on each end of the bridge to allow drivers to use the southbound lane for both directions of travel.

Maintenance crews will begin work immediately to make repairs. The closure is expected to take three to four weeks.
